South Island & Southern Gulf Islands | BC Cider Way

A relaxed, ferry-connected journey through the Saanich Peninsula and nearby islands, where you’ll find the highest concentration of land-based cideries in BC.

This laid-back trail combines sunny orchards, seaside sips, and charming island stops. From Victoria’s lush Saanich Peninsula to Salt Spring and Pender Islands, this is where BC’s cider culture really shines — with a tight cluster of independent cideries, all rooted in tradition and terroir. You’ll pass coastal farms, hop ferries through the Salish Sea, and taste some of the province’s most expressive ciders along the way.
